Files need to be supplied as flattened TIFFs at final size in Adobe RGB 1998 colour space for colour and B&W; at a resolution of 400 pixels per inch(300 and 200 are acceptable). Each file is prepped and tested before final printing. We do not charge set-up charges for this step.

Process file in RGB, do not convert to grayscale. Send along a reference jpeg for conversion and printing

• Sharpening - This is a critical facet of large format printing. If you need assistance, please consult with us before final file prep.
• No Alpha channels - please remove before sending
• Files should be sent in 8 bits per channel RGB
• Flattened .jpg .tif files, or .psd Mac Byte order files
• No compression

NOTE:Colour reference to be supplied with each file, or printer's decision is final.

If you have more than 3 files to transfer, prefer or are more comfortable with using FTP (using FTP to transfer files tends to handle errors better) we have a public FTP server. Files can be uploaded to our public server via Fetch (or similar file transfer software). Private and secure FTP is available, please email for more information.

Please email info@elevatordigital.ca to notify us of the file upload. Include in your email paper type, size and quantity.

Use this form to upload your files to Elevator's Server. Be patient during the upload. Depending upon your file size, network connection and network traffic the upload process can take some time.

1. For each file you wish to upload use the browse button to locate the file on your system
2. When you've located all of your files fillin the linear file size and qty.
3. If you have more than three files to upload you may wish to use our FTP service or simply wait for this batch to finish and start the process over. Be sure to alow the files to finish uploading prior to surfing away or starting a new upload. You'll know the upload is complete when you see the thank you message.
4. Fill out your name, phone, email and mailing address (use the mailing address only if you wish to have the files shipped).
5. Give complete and detailed instructions for each file.
6. When you are finished press submit.
7. Do not surf away or start a new upload until after the upload is complete.

Archiving of Images:

Elevator keeps files for the duration of production only. Please notify us when placing your order if you wish to have the flattened printing .tiff files and/or the Lambda .PPM files archived to a CD-ROM. A $5 additional cost per disc will incur.
